Bundle makes it easy! By: Cam_IAOn: 18/11/2022I love the option to buy in a bundle as I don't have to calculate how many sachets I need on my own. As for the product, I am super pleased. My horse eats the granules happily and is feeling better after starting her treatment! Happy to finally have an affordable treatment option.Read More

Happy Horse, Happy owner By: MadisonOn: 08/10/2021I own a difficult and grump OTTB gelding, he has always been difficult but when I noticed he was getting aggressive and difficult to ride I looked in to ulcers. Having him scoped was not an option and my vet recommended abler because it was affordable to use to rule things out. I noticed a huge difference right away and he was back to my normal horse after the 30 days. It was pretty easy for the barn to use! I defiantly will order again if I need toRead More

Chester is Healthy and Happy again! By: PhoenixOn: 05/05/2021Abler is fantastic! I bought a TB gelding as a project in October without knowing much about him. He was girthy, spooky, anxious, and food possessive with my mare right off the bat, but I chalked it all up to settling into his new home and work routine at first since he was eating fine and in good weight. It wasn't until a rapid weight drop in April alongside colic symptoms that I put the other behaviors together and concluded he had ulcers. I did not have him scoped, so I got the Bulk Pack to treat for both hindgut and gastric ulcers. We're two weeks into the treatment and WOW! He is a different horse. He's friendlier with my mare and with me, no more yawning/windsucking/cribbing when getting tacked up, and he actually enjoys grooming now. He's more forward under saddle and doesn't swish his tail when I ask for him to extend. Just a much happier and more willing boy. He also plays in the pasture, which he never did before! He's still underweight, but we're in the process of bulking him up now that he's getting treated. He's a fairly picky eater, but had no problem eating the granules. At first I used corn oil in a little bit of grain to encourage him and sort of stick the granules to the grain, but now I'm just dry dressing the grain with some rice bran and the granules and he eats them up no problem. The product is easy to use, and the packaging is very clear in regards to dosage calculation. Thank you Abler!Read More

Great for OTTB with tummy trouble By: LavadaOn: 07/04/2021Last year I adopted a 5 year old OTTB and he was pretty grumpy in his stall, slinging feed angrily, didn't enjoy being groomed on his sides or stomach, kicked out when his gut was touched even lightly. Vet recommended treating for ulcers as cost of scope was pointless when we could use omeprazole and sucralfate. UG and GG were prohibitively expensive though. So we tried Abler on recommendation. After 30 day treatment, he was a different animal altogether. Satchels were handy for barn staff. We did have to add sweetened applesauce to get him to finish out the last week and a half of crystals, even in his feed, but for the most part, he ate them without issue the majority of the time.Read More

Ember has improved By: LisaOn: 17/09/2020My horse came from Europe to the US in March. Flying and travel most likely stressed his gut. He has been a cribber in the past, as evidence by his teeth. When he arrived, I observed him cribbing when stressed. When having the girth done up, he is snapping and biting. Ulcers were suspected based solely on his behavior. He has not been endoscoped. He also had lost a bit of weight despite increase in feed, and no change in work load. GC is wasted on this guy, as my horse will NOT allow me to get a dispensing tube in his mouth! Searching on the internet for an easy to dose ulcer product for horses, turned up Abler.com After reading the good reviews and anecdotal evidence of behavior changes in horses that used the products, I figured it was worth a try. Being able to feed it to him with only the addition of a sweet vehicle, like molasses in his feed bucket is a plus. He actually licks it right up with out hesitation. This COMBINATION bundle is an awesome value, as it treats ulcers in both stomach and the hind gut. So much cheaper than a month of GC, which is only the Omeprazole! My Results: Saving money, NO cribbing, and less irritation with the girth and modest weight gain. Happy Horse and Happy Owner! Thank-you Abler!Read More

My horse ate very well at this 160km ride By: AshleighOn: 04/02/2019I know this was over 6 months ago, but I just wanted to say a big thank you. I received the products very fast and was able to start my horse on a treatment dose the 3-4 days leading up to our first 160km. My horse ate very well at this ride (best he ever has) and I am happy to say we successfully got through the 160km! I have ordered more of your products for the 2019 endurance season and have recommended your product to some friends who have similar issues with horses not eating well at rides. I will be hoping to complete a100 miles in a day endurance ride this year and will be using your products throughout the season leading up to the ride. Thanks again AshleighRead More
