- Regular treatment will reduce the chances of colic caused by anoplocephala perfoliata and verminous arteritis caused by strongylus vulgaris.

INTERACTIONS / CONTRAINDICATIONSDo not use in foals under 4 weeks of age.
SIDE EFFECTSHorses carrying heavy infections of onchocera microfilaries may have reactions such as swelling and itching after treatment. It is assumed that these reactions are the result of destruction of large numbers of microflora; consult your veterinarian if these signs persist.
TOXICITYReports indicate the combination of ivermectin and the silver nightshade plant results in a severe toxic reaction in horses.
WARNINGS- Ablver Plus™ has been formulated specifically for use in horses.
Ensure other animals do have access to ingest the treatment, as they may be adversely affected by the concentration of ivermectin. - Pregnant mares should be treated as normal during their
pregnancy taking care not to stress them during treatment.
However, in general, anthelmintics should not be administered to mares during the first 60 days of gestation. Pregnant mares should be administered ivermectin or praziquantel 1–3 days before foaling to prevent lactogenic transmission of strongyloides westeri, which can cause diarrhea in young foals. - Do not treat horses intended for human consumption.

- Do not contaminate water ways with the product or used containers.
- Store in a cool dry atmosphere away from extreme heat.
- Store/Transport at and 20º to 30ºC ( 68º to 86ºF)
