We own a wonderful horse in our equine therapy program who has a propensity to form ulcers. He's low on the herd pecking order, and he also prefers 24/7 turnout, which we can't always do. AbPrazole has enabled us to keep him in the program while keeping him feeling great. The paste worked, but we have volunteers that function as feeders and he had begun to know how to spit out the paste, etc. These tablets have been life saving has he crunches them right up with pill pockets on his grain. Excellent product and outstanding customer service!

I got a horse in just last week who was known to previously have ulcers. Her previous owner was treating symptoms with aloe juice and u-gard pellets. She is still underweight..... When I picked her up she paid zero attention to me and was very reactive to touch and groundwork cues. She would flinch and over react to everything. when she arrived at my barn she was terribly herd sour, anxious, would not finish her meals without pacing, taking a break, being entirely possessed with the other horses. It’s been a week of giving her 4 tablets per day and she is basically a new horse. Finishes every grain meal, her coat is already starting to improve and her entire demeanor is changed. She has a much softer eye and can actually pay attention to things asked of her. If this is progress after only 1 week, I’m very excited to see how she goes once she puts on appropriate weight and muscling!

When I purchased my mare Vixen, she had been on turnout 24/7 for two years. Moving back into a partially stalled life and training was very stressful for her, and she began showing many signs of ulcers. These included weight loss, sensitivity to touch, a dull coat, an unwillingness to go forward, and a souring disposition. After treating with the Abprazole tablets for a week, I noticed a major difference in her attitude and sensitivity. I chose to do 28 days of treatment before weaning her off the Abprazole, and she did not show any symptoms of ulcers at that time. Her coat and weight also had improved significantly! My only downside was that my mare was not keen on taking the tablets in her grain, but with a handful of sweet feed as a treat pressed around them, it was no problem! I have recommended Abler to several friends seeking affordable treatment for their horses ulcers, and all of them had positive experiences as well.

I use these tablets to treat my ulcer prone horse. Since starting them 30 days ago he has gained weight and improved in overall condition. Attitude is also getting better. I hollow out a carrot and stuff the pill inside and he eats them every day without any fuss. Highly recommended.

Hands-down the most affordable form of omeprazole for my horse. Highly effective, I love that the pills are consistent in the amount he gets and that they don't require cutting open all the little packets. My horse isn't a huge fan of the taste, however. We crush them up and then he is fine, but if you just toss in the pill, he doesn't eat it. We also break it in half so he gets the full tablet over the course of the day rather than all at once. His tummy seems much better again! Definitely my favorite of the AbPrazole products due to the smaller and less wasteful packaging, the convenience of not needing to measure something out, and being at the most reasonable price-point. Drawbacks are shipping time and (for my horse, at least) taste.

My daughter's pony has been on Abprazole rocks since shortly after we bought her three years ago. We have seen a complete turn around in her personality and rideability. She used to try to bite when tacking up and now she is fine and actually snuggles on occasion. The prices are great and Abler is always happy to help!

Nothing can replace omeprazole paste but this is the next best thing and very easy to use. Even my post picky eaters will just take the tablets in a small hand full of grain. Was skeptical but it has been extremely effective and see results as quickly as 3 days. I do use a full course of 28 days with this product for initial treatment and that as a preventative measures once horse is asymptomatic. Would highly recommend and it very affordable.

Great product easy to feed hidden in apples. I also prefer tablets to bulk bags as moisture can’t get in and affect the product. I saw a difference within 5 days highly recommended and not found anything else as effective quick postage too.

Like all there abler products, my horse is completely different when he is on them. He has treatment level for a couple of days before a competition and when staying away and is then on the maintenance dosage. The tablets are super economical and I feed them with an empty paste tube. The tablets are easy to store and I prefer them to the granules because he leaves the granules in his feed and I know that the tablets have got into him. These products have revolutionised my horse and I couldn't recommend them enough

I have used the Abprazole Plus, the syringes and thought I would try the tablets as they are the cheapest. My horse is fussy about the little blue granules in the AbPrazole Plus. I tried all the suggested ways of feeding, in a carrot, apple and with molasses but didn't work. The syringes are fab as you know that he has got it in him, but they are expensive. The tablets are great so far, the balling gun makes too much noise for my horse and is tricky to use, I just use an empty syringe tube and put it right up the back of his throat. I read that the tablets shouldn't be chewed. It took a couple of days practise to get the tablets up high enough, but think I have mastered the art now. I like these as I know that they have gone in him so will be using them going forwards... Such a great product and has made my stressed, unhappy horse into a calm, happy, lovable one.

I use ABPRAZOLE every day on my horse after a bad case of ulcers. after doing a lot of research this is the best product on the market. and the uk has no product like this at this price.

This is the cheapest option. I like to hide them in apples. I just push the pill into an apple and feed it by hand. works well!

Mijn merrie heeft heftige maagzweren gehad en sinds dat ze deze tabletten krijgt gaat het een stuk beter. Ze is in gewicht aangekomen en heeft minder last van boeren. She has gained weight and is less bothered by burping. One tablet every day and it keeps going well. I am very satisfied with this product

This product is great. I have been using these tablets on my now, 32 yo Arab mare, for several years. She used to suffer from gastric ulcers terribly. Since doing the once a day preventative dosage with the AbPrazole™ Tablets, her ulcers have not flared up. I highly recommend this product.

By the way your products have really helped my mare, she was a changed pony a month after using the Ompeprazole, so much happier, the wind sucking pretty much stopped and she gained all of her weight back. I couldn't afford to get it prescribed in the UK so i would have been stuck with out Abler... Thank you! SJ

I used it for a mare that was treated with medicines. It was so heavy for her stomach that I had to treat her. Here the omeprazole was so pricey that I bought this product. I just mixed it with her food. So easy and helped perfect!

Het werkt echt al binnen een paar dagen. Nu een jaar later heeft ze helaas weer last van dezelfde symptomen, dus maar meteen weer nieuwe pillen besteld. Ze zal nu voor de rest van haar leven op een onderhoudsdosis blijven staan zodat ze geen maagzweer meer terug krijgt. Vind het een zeer goed en een betaalbaar product, ben blij dat ik Abler heb gevonden!

I found these tablets have helped my mare immensely! She has been in them now for 2 weeks and I have already started to notice a difference in her behaviour. I can now groom her belly and she's a lot less tail swishy. I have even noticed that she's not cribbing as much and can leave her collar off when I'm out with her and when she's turned out. So glad to have found an affordable way to help my horse. Can be a wee bit awkward to get into her but I've found if I set them on top of her soaked sugar beet she takes them not too bad.

I have been using these tablets for many years for my 30 year old Arab mare and she has been doing very well on them since we started. Great product! When I go away for a weekend, I use the Abprazole granules to make it easier for the caregivers to give her the meds each day. Great to have that choice. Thanks Abler!

I like the table format. Most horses will eat them in their supplements but we crush them with a pair of pliers each time anyways. Then I am certain. Best bang for the $ when you are treating multiple horses.

My older Arabian mare suffered from ulcers for quite some time. I started using these AbPrazole™ Tablets a few years ago and she is doing awesome! She is 30 now and no problems since she uses this product. Highly recommend.

My horse after many issues had reached a point where he would no longer work in the school and was becoming very reluctant to trott at all. Since using the Omeprazole tablets he is trotting again and we are starting to work in the school. This was a last ditch attempt to see if ulcers were the cause or if he needed to face retirement - luckily it seems to have worked!

So far medication seems to be working on my mare. Pills were super affordable and came quickly. The ordering process was very easy. Would absolutely order another product from Abler!

Onze ruin at niet meer, gaapte voordurend en had stress.... diagnose: maagzweer... Na een 3 weken dure omeprazol spuiten van de dierenarts te hebben gegeven en een paar honderd euro lichter bleek de maagzweer niet geheel voorbij. Via een andere dierenarts en een toevallige kennis via via bij Abler terecht gekomen. Meteen per express een bestelling gedaan en een paar dagen later al in huis en nooit spijt van gehad! Onze lieve ruin helemaal opgeknapt en zal zijn leven lang onderhoudsdosering moeten krijgen. Ik heb zakjes gehad en pillen. De omeprazol in de zakjes zakt vrij snel naar de bodem gemengd met slobber, de pillen spuugt hij soms uit, ookal verstop ik die in een stuk appel. Nu crush ik de pillen en meng door de slobber. Dat gaat goed. Het zal wellicht minder werken ivm de coating die kapot is, maar ja hij houdt het nu binnen. Thank you so much Abler, I would recommend you to every horseowner with problems!

It is not easy to get these big pills safely into a horse. I crushed these and mixed them with a bit of oats and oil. Also seems to work so wonderfully. Greetings from northern Germany

My horse is currently on stall rest due to an injury so I am using Abprazole as a preventative. I have used the granules in the past but decided to use the tablets which are more economical and sometimes he swishes his food out of the bin and there go the blue granules. I just stick the tablets in a jumbo marshmellow and they go down without a problem.

Works as well as products sold by vets for a fraction of the price! Administration is not always easy. Adding pills to the feed will get them chewed. Often the same, if you deposit them far back in the mouth. Coating gets destroyed before the pills are in the stomach. The big pills can also be challenging for picky eaters. Grinding up and feeding them with beet pulp destroys coating, but is often the solution to get them into the horse. They still work, but maybe less efficient.

I've used all three forms for abparazole but as I own and run a large h/j farm I keep coming back to the abparazole tabs as they are the most cost effective option for my personal situation! I have found that the tabs are easily fed without damaging the outer coating if fed in a bran mash or in beet pulp. You just have to be careful to not let them soak in the feed too long or they will dissolve... I add mine to the top of the feed and sprinkle them with molasses. So far most of the horses swallow them whole with no waste. For the very picky eaters I've used a balling gun as suggested with some success. I have found that the effectiveness of tabs to be exactly the same as the rest of the abparazole products. Ulcery horses feel better, misbehave less and start to regain condition in just a week of starting treatment! Abler products make treating such a common and debilitating ailment affordable and convenient!

Tried these instead of the granules and I find these easier to feed with no wastage, small amount of chaff and cover the tablet in molasses horse eats it up every time. Product really works and my horse is much happier.

I was originally a little bit hesitant to buy these, but I am so glad I did. My gelding had ulcers last spring and the AbPrazole tablets worked great!! I hid the pills inside some gooey treats and my horse didn't seem to notice them inside. Would buy again in a heartbeat if I need them!

My 30-year-old quarter horse gelding began having loose and watery stools. He's not the nervous sort nor did he demonstrate any of the other common symptoms of ulcers. After much research and trying other supplements, pre- and probiotics, etc. I came across an article which recommended Abler. My first attempt was with the granular AbPrazole. My horse eats anything so I thought it would be easy to feed. He absolutely refused to eat it. I don't know if it was the color or the texture but he wanted no part of it. The next time I ordered I tried the tablets. My horse has always had a fondness for Fig Newtons so I simply stuff the tablet in a Fig Newton like a pill pocket. Once in a while I hear him break the tablet but I haven't noticed a decrease in it's effectiveness. After a month long treatment I gradually cut back and found he does well on two tablets per week.

This is the most affordable omeprazole I have been able to find. This way I can use it for several horses and do not have to limit it just a few and it works!

I have bought the granules before and decided to give the tablets a try. Both have been very effective and eliminating ulcers in my horses. I had several of my horses scoped and so I knew that they indeed had ulcers. I usually see signs of relief within 3 days of use. After a full month of treatment, no one could believe the horse went from very thin, spooky horse that just wanted to eat grass in small quantities and turned up their noses at concentrates to becoming a horse that dived into their feed, was filling out beautifully and much calmer. The tablets make it easier to make sure the horse got all of the medication. My horses hate apples and I could not fit the tablet easily in a piece of carrot. I tried wrapping the tablet with green grass and this did work with some of the horses very well. But some of the horses chew their food and treats a lot, so those horses ended up chewing and breaking the tablet and spitting the pieces out. The latter horses will have to go back to the granules. There are no customs tax on anything under $200 to the USA. So, I kept my order under that amount for fear what the taxes would be if I ordered the larger more economical size. I wish I could have ordered the larger package because this has been the best ulcer medication I have ever used and the best price, but was afraid how much custom taxes would be. I would not waste your money on a lot of those other daily feed supplements sold by other companies that are supposed to prevent ulcers because this omeprazole medication without a doubt gets the uclers eliminated or prevented and saves you money in the long run.

Easy to feed in an apple or a carrot for fussy eaters

Fantastic product! So handy that you can order it without needing to purchase from a vet! Also the tablets are much easier than the tradition premixed liquid from the vet as this way you are guaranteed the proper amount every time!!!

I have a young gelding that is my barrel horse. He came from a rough past, He was bought off the slaughter truck and has gone thru 4 more homes before me. He has struggled so bad with ulcers and Im so happy I finally found something that is so darn inexpensive! Im really hoping it helps my boy, and my future horses! I found this off an article I read about ulcers in horses and so glad I did. I will for sure be writing a review once my order arrives and I can start treatment!

As an owner of an off track thoroughbred, I am all too familiar with ulcers. My gelding tends to get flare ups during the winter months. He is girthy, moody, teeth grinding, and in pain. When we rescued Tank we couldn't figure out why he wasn't gaining weight. It turned out he had some pretty awful ulcers. I ordered the Omeprazole pills from Abler and they were an absolute lifesaver! The shipping was fast and Tank was started on them as soon as they arrived. Within a week he was already looking better and his flanks were more relaxed. By the end of the month he looked like a normal horse and had put on a ton of weight. My horse used to get nervous, herd bound but never a bad boy. My gosh since I started this product he is a 'on the buckle' horse at horse shows. I just up the dosage to treatment one day before the show and during the show and then maintenance at home. His weight has gone up, I show dressage and love I stand by the ring on the buckle watching another horse rear, shoot off, turn in circles. I love this stuff it truly has made my horse relaxed and maintain a great weight.

My mare caught onto these hidden in a treat after a couple of days, and objects to a balling gun. I end up giving her more to make up for the broken or chewed tablets. Effective, but I think I will stick with the granules from now on just for ease of use.

Abler is effective and easy to use/administer. When my mare was first dosed with Equine Gastric Ulcer Sydrome (EGUS), I treated with GGgard, prescribed by my vet. She had a flair of ulcers about a year later (after an injury requiring treatment with Banamine). I chose to treat with Abler Omeprazole because of friends' experiences and cost. I can confidently say that Abler Omeprazole works to treat and prevent EGUS. In my experience, it worked just as well as GGard, at a fraction of the price. Love this stuff and will continue to use it. Also, my mare is an incredibly picky eater, but she has no problem eating the omeprazole tablets.

Cameo never had an appetite from the time she was very young. When she was four years old she was still so small and skanky I'd barely broken her to ride and had to take it very easy on her because she was so easily upset. A friend suggested that maybe she had ulcers so I looked into it and although at that time I'd never heard of ulcers in horses, it seemed most likely that that was the problem. I started giving her Abler's Omeprozole and literally within weeks she was an altogether different horse.
