Product Description
AbPrazole Plus (omeprazole and lactobacillus sporogenes) is one of Abler’s most popular products for the treatment and prevention of equine gastric ulcer syndrome (EGUS), which is a common issue amongst stabled horses, performance horses, horses stressed by a changed environment or horses being treated with anti-inflammatories.
Omeprazole is from the family of proton pump inhibitors (PPI’s) that blocks secretion of acid. Omeprazole assists by reducing and neutralizing acid in the horse’s stomach, which enables improved healing of existing ulcer damage.
The presence of a probiotic (lactobacillus sporogenes) helps restore natural intestinal flora, leading to a more rapid recovery and increased nutrient absorption.
Each dose of AbPrazole Plus is effective for 24 hours.

Helps with ulcery thoroughbredI moved my horse across the country over the winter and he went from group turnout 24/7 to an individual paddock. I started him on the Abprozole plus to treat ulcers he may have developed during the move, and I have kept him on a low dose as a preventative in his current living situation. I have been very pleased with the results, and I like that the granules are easy to feed.

Happier boy!Ive used this product in the past on a mare with ulcers, and it definitely helped her keep them under control. When my new horse started showing signs, I immediately ordered the bulk pack. Within 7 days he was much more comfortable and less irritated about being saddled. Starting him now on daily maintenance.

CRANKY PANTS TO HAPPY PANTSSting was cranky to everyone and anything, he tested positive for ulcers. We treated him for 2 months and he is back to his normal happy boy. This product is easy to feed and very reasonable in price.

Grumpy old man is so much happierOur older (18) Hunter is frequently crabby and vet recommended trying an ulcer regime. This worked wonderfully for our young nervous horse and being so easy to administer and relatively inexpensive (compared to other treatment options), we decided to give it a try.

So easy to use at showsI have an ulcer / gastric upset prone horse, and I started the granules a week prior to shipping to a show - I loved not adding to his anxiety by having to give him a paste every day!
