Product Description
AbPrazole is Abler’s most popular product for the treatment and prevention of equine gastric ulcer syndrome (EGUS), which is a common issue amongst stabled horses, performance horses, horses stressed by a changed environment or horses being treated with anti-inflammatories.
Omeprazole is from the family of proton pump inhibitors (PPI’s) that blocks secretion of acid. Omeprazole assists by reducing and neutralizing acid in the horse’s stomach, which enables improved healing of existing ulcer damage.
Each dose of AbPrazole is effective for 24 hours.

Affordable and efficientI use AbPrazole for all my horses, it works every time. I usually buy in bulk as the larger the quantity you purchase the bigger the discount Abler give. This is a perfect solution for me since gastric ulcer treatment can be very expensive. What is more my horse is very picky, it is very hard to administer medicines but with AbPrazole, it is extremely easy, I just have to sprinkle it on food, no need to hide it so it saves my time. I think that it is the best treatment when it comes to ulcers.

Excellent wonderful product.I have been using this product for my horse and she is so much better. No signs of ulcers and I can she feels so much better. A friend at my barn was having ulcer issues with her horse and I loaned her a couple of my packets and she is now giving this to her horse with great results. I am so grateful to have found this product.

chronic ulcersThe AbPrazole is working great for my paso fino with ulcer issues. Much more cost effective than other options. I use probiotics and alfalfa pellets for a healthy stomach, too. My mare has to be on this treatment every day year round. Her weight is up to a normal level, she is happy to be ridden and she nickers when she hears me call.

Best Ulcer productI have been using this product for my horse for the last year, especially after my OTTB had sand colic surgery. Soon after starting these, he looka great and has shown no signs of gastric ulcers since we started using this. I prefer the packets as they are easy to travel with and it ensures a correct dose.

Key to having a sane horse!My horse has had seasonal ulcers a few times - in the fall when the grass dries up. I used Abprazole each time with success - girthy behavior gone within first two weeks. This year, he started acting up, and he didn't respond! I was completely shocked, so called the vet out since I trusted Abprazole and knew it must not be ulcers if he wasn't feeling better in treatment. Turns out, he had Lyme. Then after treating, and clearing, lyme, he was having symptoms again. The antibiotics and stress of treatment gave him ulcers, and this time, Abprazole worked, as it has each time he's had ulcers. I'm finally able to work him again - very, very satisfied customer!

Easy to FeedThis product is economical and easy to feed. I put my three show horses on a maintenance dose when they travel and compete. My horses eat it up with their feed, and it prevents stress ulcers. Love it!
