I have used the Abprazole Plus, the syringes and thought I would try the tablets as they are the cheapest. My horse is fussy about the little blue granules in the AbPrazole Plus. I tried all the suggested ways of feeding, in a carrot, apple and with molasses but didn't work. The syringes are fab as you know that he has got it in him, but they are expensive. The tablets are great so far, the balling gun makes too much noise for my horse and is tricky to use, I just use an empty syringe tube and put it right up the back of his throat. I read that the tablets shouldn't be chewed. It took a couple of days practise to get the tablets up high enough, but think I have mastered the art now. I like these as I know that they have gone in him so will be using them going forwards...
Such a great product and has made my stressed, unhappy horse into a calm, happy, lovable one.
