AbPrazole (omeprazole) is Abler’s most popular product for the treatment and prevention of equine gastric ulcer syndrome (EGUS), which is a common issue amongst stabled horses, performance horses, horses stressed by a changed environment or horses being treated with anti-inflammatories.
Omeprazole is from the family of proton pump inhibitors (PPI’s) that blocks secretion of acid. Omeprazole assists by reducing and neutralizing acid in the horse’s stomach, which enables improved healing of existing ulcer damage.
Each dose of AbPrazole is effective for 24 hours.

Irritable and losing appetieMy horse has been on AbPrazole for almost a year now and I plan to keep him on this supplement for the future since it's really healed his hind gut ulcers and enabled him to put weight back on. He looks and acts like himself again!!

This is my horse saverI heal my horse since one year with Abprazole in syringe. He is much better and my vet recommend to buy Abprazole for his efficiency.

Happier HorseI recently purchased an OTTB. He has been doing well overall, but when I moved him home with me, I noticed he started cribbing more frequently from the stress of the move. He also never was a fan of getting groomed, especially near his belly area. Because of his history/breed and new settings, we decided to try treating him for ulcers to see how he did. He has been on the omeprazole paste for about 3 weeks now. He is noticeably cribbing much less and I can finally brush/curry his sides without him protesting. This paste is also very easy to give and seems to be pretty palatable as he takes it with no problem! Also so happy I found this product at this price point as it is much more affordable! Definitely will continue to purchase this product as long as it is needed.

Works GreatI've had great luck using this to buffer my horse's stomach when we are at big weekend barrel races. I will be looking in to the granules for regular use! But the tubes will always have a place in my vet kit!

Great PriceMy horse went off grain and it was less expensive to treat her than scope her for ulcers. This product only cost me a quarter of what UG costs. Was very pleased to find this site. My only complaint is the paste is so stiff that it come out in a lump the shape of the syringe. My horse would just spit it on the ground. It would not stick in her mouth. I was very frustrated that this was not a sticky paste. In order to not waste my entire purchase I had to squirt the paste out and mix it with Karo Syrup, then smoosh it back into the tube to dose my mare. That was the only way to get it into the consistency of paste needed to effectively dose your horse. However the price was terrific, I would not have been able to afford to treat my mare if I hadn't found this site.

This is a great product!Over the summer I had two geldings that were diagnosed with grade 3 ulcers so I needed to be able to provide the care the needed and quickly! Ships fast and is easy to use. The one draw back is the dosing stopper will jam or stick at times, but it is not hard to work with at all. This a great product!!!

Cost effectiveThis came so fast and was very affordable in comparison to other brands, even with the rapid delivery added. I believe this past really helped my horse and I will continue to use abler for all my ulcer treatment needs.
