The adjustable plunger allows for multiple doses from one syringe. Each horse receives the ulcer medication dosage with no wastage. Once opened, syringe must be used within 28-days.

The syringe is designed to make it safe for the horse's mouth during administration. There are no sharp areas of the syringe that will harm the internal mouth cavity of the horse.

No Adverse Effects.
There are no adverse reactions seen with co-medication even after four weeks of treatment and additional four weeks for prevention of equine ulcer recurrences.

Treatment:
4mg per kg body weight/day
1cc per 100kg (220lb) of body weight/day
Treatment Regime: 30 days

Prevention:
2mg per kg body weight/day
0.55cc per 100 kg (220lb) body weight/day
Prevention Regime: Minimum 30 days - ongoing as required

Administration:

Example:
Weight of horse: 500kg (1100lb)
Recommended Dose: 5cc per day

• 1^st day - Adjust the locking ring on the plunger to 5cc graduation.
• 2^nd day - For the next 5cc dose - adjust the locking ring to 10cc.
• 3^rd day - For the next 5cc dose - adjust the locking ring to 15cc.
• Next few days, continue dose until all 30cc have been used.

To Set the Syringe Plunger for accurate dosing of AbGard™ Stable Pack

• Unlock the knurled ring rotating it 1/4 a turn.
• Slide the knurled ring with arrow - along the plunger shaft to the appropriate graduation.
• Rotate the Plunger ring 1/4 turn to lock into place. Remove nozzle cover.
• Horse's mouth is to be free of food.
• Insert the nozzle of the syringe through the interdental space and deposit the required amount of paste on the back of the tongue.
• Immediately after administration, elevate the head for a few seconds to ensure the dose is swallowed.
• If any dose is lost or rejected- re-dosing is recommended.
• Replace Cap after each use. Shelf life after 1^st immediate opening is 28 days.
